Originally from Western Maryland, Rachel is a DiaspoRican acupuncturist living in Brooklyn. She has worked nearly a decade as an acupuncturist and 7 years as an herbalist having worked in various community acupuncture clinics including Brooklyn Open Acupuncture and Tigerlily Holistic. She also has experience providing private acupuncture treatments at Bed Stuy Acupuncture and Third Root and private tui-na treatments at Manhattan Sports Acupuncture. Her practice blends Chinese and Japanese acupuncture styles, as well as trigger point release techniques. Rachel also received specific training around hypermobility conditions.
Before training in acupuncture, she worked as a health educator and patient navigator in HIV services at a community health clinic, where she also conducted outreach on a mobile testing van. In these roles, she primarily served queer and trans sex workers, as well as transient individuals. This experience deepened her belief that centering the health needs of the most marginalized communities leads to better care for everyone.
Rachel’s interest in acupuncture began while volunteering with syringe exchange programs in upper Manhattan and the Bronx. She witnessed how acupuncture was used to detox and address PTSD and stress, particularly among people affected by the opioid epidemic. The history of acupuncture’s radical and collective uses, combined with her personal experiences, inspired her to pursue acupuncture training. She earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture and Classical Chinese Herbal Medicine from Tri-State College of Acupuncture, and her bachelor’s in psychology from Wellesley College. Outside of her acupuncture work, Rachel enjoys birdwatching and supports prisoners in her spare time.

As a dual-licensed practitioner in both acupuncture (LAc) and massage therapy (LMT), Everett is passionate about pain management and holistic healing. Having worked as a licensed massage therapist for nearly a decade, he has gained extensive knowledge of the human body and experience in pain relief. He integrates both biomedical models of Anatomy and Physiology and Traditional Chinese Medicine into his acupuncture treatments, allowing him to carefully individualize each treatment.
Everett has developed expertise in treating a variety of conditions, including anxiety, insomnia, fertility challenges, and complex disease presentations such as long COVID having worked at multiple clinics such as Wthn and Grand Central Pain Relief. Before working at these private clinics, Everett served as a senior intern and as a tutor to acupuncture students at Pacific College of Health and Science Clinic.
Everett received his Masters of Science of Traditional Oriental Medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. On top of the two degrees in Acupuncture and Massage, Everett earned a certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine and in Facial Acupuncture. Previous to entering his journey in the Healing Arts, Everett studied Comparative Literature at Hampshire College. Alice loves all the parallels between nature and acupuncture. She believes that people are actually a lot like plants - we need space, light, water and attention. As an acupuncturist, she listens deeply to her patients concerns and works with them to come up with the optimal treatment to meet their needs. She likes treating emotional issues, menstrual disorders, fertility and does facial rejuvenation and microneedling.
Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, Alice worked in urban farming and as a community organizer. She is a huge lover of plants and being in the dirt, but promises to always wash the dirt off before coming inside to do acupuncture.
Alice received her Master of Science in Acupuncture from New York College of Health Professions in 2020 and her Bachelor’s degree from the Gallatin School at NYU.

Jenny has over a decade of acupuncture experience having practiced in various settings including The Center for Comprehensive Wellness at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, a high-end private acupuncture clinic called On-Point Acupuncture in Manhattan, and at two community clinics, Worksong Community Acupuncture and Brooklyn Open Acupuncture. She was a faculty member for 7 years at Tri-State College of Acupuncture and 1 year at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
Jenny has treated hundreds of patients with wide ranging symptoms related to pain, fertility, digestion, anxiety, and more. She practices mainly Acupuncture Physical Medicine (APM) which incorporates traditional Vietnamese acupuncture with trigger point needling developed in the United States. Previous to becoming an acupuncturist, Jenny taught ESL and Civics at New York City College of Technology where she collaborated with many non-profit organizations and NYC Dept of Education to develop programs to serve the immigrant population in Brooklyn.
